Game 9- Church Ladies Fall to the Bats From Hell

This one goes down as one of the most flawlessly brutal offensive whuppins we've ever produced. With a few exceptions, defensively we looked better than ever and forced a 10 run rule on the Red Neds (as in Flanders). Jamie again delivered a birdy round on the mound but the real shiners were Ward and Bobbie. Ward, you done good. You got glove....you got bat.....you got game. I do believe the Keystone has finally begun to re-absorb after your wagon hiatus. At least for this game, you apparently injested the perfect amout of 'oil' required to turn you into a well lubricated softball machine. Just as impressive was our new recuit Bobby. His bat tortured the third base line twice scoring 2 runs and when called for, blasted another two run shot down the 1st base line. Without a doubt, textbook ball play. Most everyone else was comfortably sharp at the plate and circled the bases with energetic poise. Having dealt with the best, the most, and the score, I now turn to the bad, the bone, and the one who owes a cold 24.

• The Bad- Borer suffered through at least two 'mini glove like' misses and an abismal worm burner throw to first. Jesus man! Bounce passes are used in basketball. In defense he said, "Yea, but Jon told me to hurry the throw when in fact, I had lots of time". Dude......after that play, Jon wasn't exactly dancing around shouting "Whooo's Ya Daddy?"

• The Bone- Click Here

• The Cold 24- Mike (The Breeze) Currie cleaned the plate so well with the wind he generated attempting to make contact, the umpire retired his whisk broom for the remainder of the game. You say you 'grazed' one? The only grazing I witnessed was Kenny in our cooler. How many 'whiffer cases' are you up to now? I hope you do better next time but just in "case", I'm preparing a special CD with (Click Here) to recognize your agonizing achivement.

Thanks to Mike C. adding 1 we now have a 2 case beer buffer. Which reminds me. Derrick has owed his penalty case going on a month now. I hearby proclaim that in the event he fails to show up Sunday with intoxicating beverages of some sort, he will be assesed a late fee. Said fee will be retroactively equal to 50% by volume for each week he stands in arrears.

We didn't win this one on their errors guys...just plain outstanding play on both sides of the ball. Let's keep this train rolling!

Game 8- We Couldn't Change a Diaper!

What is it with these green bastards? Appearing focused, we just simply can't hit agin the Dandiest. Nothing major, nothing minor here to report. It should be a no brainer for us since their 'D' is pittyful this year. We meet them again the last game of the season so let's take em out then and in the tourney!

The closest thing we had to a Butthead manuever was Graske disobeying base coach instruction and rounding first on a dead single. He subsequently jammed his ankle on the base in a desparation slide. When asked if he was O.K., agonizingly rolling about he responded only with, "fuck, Fuck,..... FUCK!" He is officially on injured reserve and is our first casulty of the year. Load up on the codines and stay off the foot Pat, we need you back in the mix.
